SUPPLIES AND EXCURSIONS

THE RESIDENCY CENTER IS RURAL FOR A PURPOSE. PLEASE PLAN AHEAD FOR YOUR SUPPLIES. YOU MAY WANT TO STOP AT A GROCERY STORE ON YOUR WAY.

HERE ARE SOME RESOURCES FOR YOUR POSSIBLE NEEDS IN SUPPLIES, FOOD, A COFFEE SHOP OUTING, AND EVEN ANTIQUES.

HOHENWALD

GROCERIES: There are a few grocery stores in this town and a WalMart (sign of the times) that has some organic and gluten free items. Many of the places are going to have more processed and packaged foods than those you may find at Whole Foods or Trader Joe's. If you want Whole Foods - the closest is in Franklin/Brentwood area.

Hohenwald Marketplace - be on the lookout for weekly farmer's market as well as German pastries and other local small business featuring artisans and handmade items only.

All Around Southern Mercantile - features art and handcraft from people in the area including Amish furniture. Sometimes they have local produce and seasonal items.

COFFEE SHOP: Rock House Coffee Company & Event Center is open daily during the week. As Hohenwald grows, we hope that there will be additional options to this venue. They do have events such as singer songwriter nights on occasion.
